Field Trip to
Covina City Hall and Museum
As we study our community, a field trip to the mayor's office is on the agenda. Covina has a rich history, we are fortunate that the city's original fire/police building has been saved as a museum. This allows us to take a peek back in time, to the origins of Covina. You are invited to visit with your family and receive a personal tour. Be ready to share with the class everything you learned.
The museum is located at City Hall, 125 E. College Street, Courtyard, enter through the double gates and the museum is just west of the fountain. The Vintage Years photo display is open Monday - Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Firehouse Museum is open Sunday 1 to 3 p.m. (except holidays). A great way to spend a few hours with the family. Best of all, it is FREE.
